Treatment Methods:
- Excimer Laser (LASIK, LASEK, PRK): suitable for young patients with mild to moderate refractive errors (up to 6-8 diopters), and for the correction of refractive errors after cataract surgery.
- Lens based vision correction: Implantation of phakic Intraocular Lenses. A method suitable for correction of medium and high refractive errors (from 6 diopters on), or when looking for a reversible correction.
- Lens based vision correction: Cristalline (Clear) Lens Exchange with implantation of premium high contrast (aspheric) monofocal or multifocal Intraocular Lenses: A method suitable for patients with medium and high refractive errors from the 5th decade of life on and in cases of incipient cataract.
- Incision based vision correction: Arcuate keratotomy: A method suitable for mild astigmatism treatment, as well an alternative to astigmatism laser treatment and in cases of existing cataract.
